Indigenous Literacy Day

Indigenous Literacy Day is a national event to raise both funds and awareness of the crisis for Indigenous literacy.

On Wednesday September 1 you can support the literacy work of The Fred Hollows Foundation in remote Indigenous communities.  Simply buy a book at Riverbend and 10% of your purchase price will be donated to Indigenous Literacy Day.  If you'd prefer to make a cash donation we have collection boxes on the Bookshop counter and if you wish to make a larger donation please visit our website Indigenous Literacy Day for details.
