Riverbend hosts hundreds of events each year featuring writers, illustrators, thinkers, chefs, achievers. Most of our events are held on our lovely deck but we host others at venues around Brisbane.

Meet the Author: Hazel Key
Fully qualified mother and domestic efficiency expert Hazel Key will be dropping in to Riverbend to discuss her new book “The Clever Packed Lunch”.

Full of quick, easy, and well balanced recipe ideas that are all approved by health experts, “The Clever Packed Lunch” is an excellent guide to fresh lunchbox ideas.

Meet the Chef: Manu Feildel

Riverbend invites you to join us for breakfast on the deck with the charming French- Australian chef Manu Feildel to discuss his latest book “Manu’s French Bistro”.

Manu is the co-owner and executive chef of the acclaimed L’etoile in Sydney and his role as co-host of My Restaurant Rules, as well as numerous appearances on Masterchef Australia and Ready, Steady, Cook.
