Riverbend is very excited to announce our new initiative and to be the first bookstore
in Australia to offer: The Riverbend Bike Book Delivery Service.
Now Riverbend customers are able purchase books online or over the phone and have
them delivered right to your door by friendly staff. If you live in the surrounding
suburbs of Hawthorne, Balmoral or Bulimba, we can deliver books to you every Wednesday
and Friday between 4 and 5pm.
Our pedal-powered delivery is fun, convenient and best of all it won’t cost you
anything. Harper Collins has kindly donated 50 copies of The Places You’ll Go by
Dr. Seuss, for the first 50 customers to take part in the delivery service.
Here's what you need to know.
- Orders need to be placed by 3pm on the day of delivery.
- Delivery is available to most houses in Bulimba, Hawthorne and Balmoral. We cover
everywhere from Thynne Road to the River, ending at Wynnum Road. Check the map below!
- To ensure the best service we prefer you to sign for your delivery. If you will
not be home, please let us know where to leave your book
- We are unable to deliver goods from our Teahouse.
