Riverbend Readers is a bookclub bringing
together people who love books and reading.
**Unfortunately all the Riverbend
Reader groups are full. If you would like to go on the waiting list
please contact us bookclub@riverbendbooks.com.au.
When does Bookclub meet?
There are four separate Bookclub groups each month, all meeting in the
second week of each month (except July and December when there are no
meetings).
How much does Bookclub cost?
There is a $10 catering charge for each meeting which needs to be paid in
advance when you register (that's $90 when you register).
We also require that you purchase each month's Bookclub title at Riverbend (with
a 10% discount). At each bookclub meeting you will be able to purchase
the following month's title.
Who chooses the Bookclub books?
Each month we will offer Bookclub members a choice of two books, one of which
will be chosen by you as the Bookclub title. So that we have time
to tally votes, and you have time to read the books, we will preview books two
months in advance, so in March you will be voting for the book to read in
May and so on.
