Riverbend for Schools
Our school clients are very important to us at Riverbend. We understand the
huge amount of work schools do to encourage literacy in their students. We particularly
appreciate the importance of teacher librarians in creating an informed and inspiring
culture of literacy within our schools.
The ultimate success of children depends on their access to books both within schools
and at home. The value of the school teacher librarian is that they have the opportunity
to get to know their students and are therefore in one of the best positions to
match the right book to the right child at the right time.
Riverbend strives to support and encourage the role that teachers and teacher librarians
play through a number of initiatives aimed at supporting both the role of the teacher
librarian and the culture of reading within schools.
