Our lovely deck at Riverbend makes a beautiful venue for parties, business functions and other special events.

Half Deck 

Our Team will set the deck for a casual standing cocktail party with soft lighting and surrounded by black bamboo.  Your guests are able to browse inside our Bookshop, Australian Independent Bookshop of the Year in 2006 & 2007

• Capacity: 20 to 60 people 
• Availability: Wednesday - Saturday, 6pm to 10.30pm

Your area of the deck will be sectioned off from other diners.  You package includes a private staff member for the duration of your event.

Private Full Deck

Riverbend’s deck has hosted many special events including events with Bill Granger, Phillip Johnson, Stephanie Alexander, George Negus, Maggie Beer, Kylie Kwong, Tim Winton and John Eales.

• Capacity: 60 to 150 people
• Availabilty: Monday - Saturday, 6pm to 10.30pm

The deck is covered but retains a lovely outdoor feel and makes a fabulous cocktail party venue.  The deck will be closed to the public which creates a private venue and also includes use of our Bookshop, Australian Independent Bookshop of the Year in 2006 & 2007.

Please note: A booking of 60 people is required to secure exclusive use of the deck.  

Inside the Bookshop

Riverbend Books, the award winning Australian Independent Bookshop of the Year for 2006 & 2007 is a venue with a difference. The space in the back of the shop, surrounded with fabulous books is prefect for small groups.

• Capacity: 10 to 25 people
• Availability: Wednesday - Saturday, 4pm to 10pm.

Food and beverages will be offered in this area by one of our staff.
